ANDY MARSHALL

To kick start my architecture project i decided to use Andy Marshall as my contextual reference. Marshall is an English photographer who is known for capturing the simplicity of interior and exterior architecture. moreover Marshall also captures the beauty of religious places of worship which i took interest in as their architecture presents an abundant amount of symmetry and natural light to seep into the building.

shoot 01-favourite images

For my first shoot i went to Wimborne minster to capture both the interior and exterior architecture of the building much like how Andy Marshall. in these images i focused on the symmetry of the interior and how the natural light enhances the religious  aspect. i also went into Wetherspoons pub to take an interior shot which i took a liking to.

final shoot-favourite images

For my final shoot of this project, i travelled to Knowlton church just outside of Salisbury as although this church is in ruins,it still holds a lot of character especially at dusk when i captured these images with the beautiful pink sky complimenting the grass and muted colours of the structure of the ruin.
